I am in the process of selling my home and was looking for the performance test files that Mike had done. Of course because this was done over 5 years ago I was not able to find them. I took a shot and contacted Mike wondering if he could find these files so that I could show the buyers. We contacted Mike to do a home performance test on our home. We were very pleased with the entire process. He was very detailed with the report that explained where and how we could make changes. This aided us in making important changes to our home. Mike was always available for questions and more than willing to come to our home any day to help us with a project or run through our report. He was very knowledgeable on how to make the improvements and on whom we may contract with to complete them. In the end, Mike spent time explaining the final report and made sure we understood the improvements we had made. It is easy to see that Mike really enjoys what he does and doing home performance testing and home inspections is truly his passion. I highly recommend Mike Carson for a home performance test or home inspection.

At a recent inspection I had a young boy follow me around. As I was going through the inspection I was explaining to him what I was doing, looking for and he even helped in some parts. As young kids often do they lose interest and find the closest toy to play with. At the end of the inspection he went to his mom and said "I want to do what he does when I grow up" :-)

Mike did a great job on the home inspection I hired him for. His work is extremely thorough, detailed, and very useful in making such a big purchase decision. Mike is very honest about the condition of the home and what he found during the inspection. It's also great that he gives you the option to tag along during his inspection. This gave me a better understanding of what he was looking for, why his findings were important, and it allowed me to have an upfront view of any areas of concern with the home. Mike's inspection saved me from buying a HUGE money trap, I would recommend him to anyone!
