A home inspection is a professional, objective visual examination of the condition of a home. All of the major systems typically used within a home are tested and/or operated to verify proper operation or installation. Major systems we investigate are the roof and components, ventilation, structure, heating & cooling, electrical, plumbing and drainage. Doors and windows are opened and closed, roofing materials inspected, structural components, electrical, air-conditioning and heating systems operated. The Inspector will also fill the sinks and tub(s), run the shower(s), and flush the toilets. All the while making notes on the condition and operation of the components tested. Upon completion a report will be distributed to you. We also take photos and video explanations of situations during the inspection and place them on a flash drive for you for future reference. During the inspection, we install hanger tags on major systems so you and your family will know where all of the shut off's are in case of emergency. We also provide you with a maintenanc manual to help keep your new home in great shape. At the end of the inspection, we provide you with the most comprehensive and in depth report in the industry, our reporting averages over 30 pages and includes pictures of situations for clarification, diagrams, maintenance tips, etc. See link for a sample of our reporting.
